Acorn Business Centre

Acorn Business Centre provides serviced and virtual office space to cater for all business needs. The time had come for their fire alarm system to be upgraded. It was imperative disruption was kept to a minimum. LPCB Approved Wireless Fire Alarm Devices from Argus Security were the perfect solution. We could install the new system beside the existing one therefore eliminating downtime.

This project was a new installation in an existing facility. Proxy Biomedical design, develop and manufacture biomaterial product solutions for medical implants. Proxy Biomedical have a 4,000-sq. ft. cleanroom and could ill afford the disruption and downtime caused by the installation of wired fire alarm devices. Therefore, Argus Security's wireless detection and alarm devices were the perfect solution to eliminate disruption of the manufacturing process. For the void space above the cleanrooms we used a FIRERAY 5000 motorised self aligning beam detector by FFE. Other void areas were protected with the Wagner Prosens 1. Altair wired addressable fire detection and addressable alarm devices were used in the administration areas. These were all controlled with a 2 Loop MxPro5 Advanced fire alarm panel.
